more about the project

JSRE Partners completed a full refurbishment programme for this unique and breath-taking 7,500 sq. ft. characterful loft-style apartment overlooking the River Thames on London’s Southbank.

Formerly ‘The Clink’, London’s oldest and most notorious prison, the building is set within the heart of London’s famous Borough Market. The apartment offers vast entertaining spaces and far reaching views across London’s iconic skyline.

Half of the property (originally built in 1144) once featured in the book ‘Lofts of London’ by David Pittles and Penny McGuire. This project offers sophisticated elegance at a superior level.

Amenities include: a home gym with top of the range equipment; Bulthaup kitchen with Gaggenau and Sub-Zero appliances; a ‘Light Shower’ sculpture by artist Bruce Munro which hangs from a dramatic glazed pyramid roof above a triple height open plan reception; a sumptuous sports bar equipped with pool table, 3-meter projector screen and a working gas fire; Dolby Atmos home cinema room with fully reclining cherry red leather seats and an integrated trailing light feature.
